The 20-year-old actor was recently asked if they would have ended up together had the show been renewed for another season.
“The whole thing with Maya it’s not really a relationship that’s conventional and didn’t necessarily work out in a lot of areas,” Uriah told M magazine. “But you know, they still like each other. I think they would’ve done well together. I definitely think they would’ve needed to wait a while you know, you’re in it for the long game.”
He added, “The relationship wouldn’t have happened right then and there, but if it was meant to be and they waited it’s meant to be, you know? I always kind of, you know, like to think it would happen down the road, but you know at this point it’s up to the fans’ imagination.”
The 20-year-old actor admits that he and Rowan have had their differences, and he doesn’t really keep in touch with any of the Girl Meets World cast.
“I’ve run into Peyton [Meyer] quite a bit. Peyton is actually the only one I’ve really ran into since the show ended,” Uriah told M magazine. “I mean, Sabrina’s [Carpenter], you know traveling around and putting out music which honestly sounds great. As for Rowan, Rowan doesn’t necessarily like me.”
He continued, “We’ve have a lot of [differences]. She doesn’t really like me. I don’t care. I mean, I don’t have anything against her. She’s a very, you know, passionate girl. She definitely wholeheartedly believes what she does. That video [he made for the end of the show] was just kind of like to calm the waters because the whole I mean, I’m sure you all know the drama that went on about a year ago between the whole getting dragged stuff. You know, it was honestly just something to say like look, you know you did good. You made a show that really mattered to people and really helped a lot of people.”
“I don’t expect to be hanging out with them, but they’re really good people,” Uriah added.

“It helped a lot of girls, and a lot of boys. It helped a lot of kids going through tough times that they might have not been able to get through without [the show],” he adds.
