Ian Somerhalder waves back to the cameras as he heads to a waiting boat on Thursday afternoon (July 4) in Lake Como, Italy.

The 34-year-old Vampire Diaries actor is in the area, filming a commercial for Azzaro with Brazilian model Ana Beatriz Barros.
