Shailene Woodley: It Takes Bravery to Be Yourself

Shailene Woodley bundles up as she heads out for the night on Monday (March 31) in London, England.

The 22-year-old actress recently opened up about being a role model to her younger fans.

“‘You do you’ is the message I would love to send out to them,” Shai told The Independent. “It takes bravery to be you, but once you do it for a little while you realize it’s so much easier than trying to be anyone else.”

She added, “”No life is ever guaranteed so I feel like it’s just important to enjoy and to be open to every moment because it’s all so fleeting and temporary.”

Earlier that day, Shailene and her co-star Theo James made their way out of the BBC Radio 1 studio together after stopping by to promote Divergent.
