Anna Kendrick Says 'Struggling, Awkward Beca' Is Who We All Are

Anna Kendrick keeps her shades on as she leaves The One Show in London, England on Wednesday night (May 6).

The 29-year-old actress stopped by the show to chat up her new film, Pitch Perfect 2, after a BBC Radio stop earlier in the day.

“I feel like you can’t get an audience to like your character if she’s actually cool, but you can if she’s trying to be cool and sometimes fails,” Anna opened up to Glamour about the realness of Beca.

She added, “My favorite Beca is Struggling, Awkward Beca because I think that’s who we all are. We want to be like Cool Beca, and we’re not.”
