The Vamps' Brad Simpson Was Surprised By One Particular Fan: 'I Thought He Was Going To Rip Me To Pieces'

The guys — Brad Simpson, Connor Ball, James McVey, and Tristan Evans — chatted all about being in a band, music, fans and more.

“I went to the cinema the other night and this guy stopped me. He was this big guy, looked like a rugby player, and I thought he was going to rip me to pieces,” Brad recalled meeting one particular fan. “But he said: ‘Mate, your album got me through my third year of university. Can I have a photo?’”

He continued, “And I was like: ‘Are you joking?’ And he said: ‘Honestly, man. I love your tunes.’ So I said: ‘Yes! Of course you can have a photo! You can have 20 photos!’”

The Vamps are also pictured below at the Hallam FM Summer Live Gig in Sheffield, England on Friday (July 17) before playing a concert at Edinburgh Castle in Scotland on Saturday night (July 18).
