Shawn Mendes Frustrated Over 'Billboard' Mag Misleading Quote

Shawn Mendes keeps his cool on the new cover of Billboard mag, which hits news stands on September 3rd.

The 18-year-old “Three Empty Words” singer opened up about Justin Bieber, hating being alone and taking care of his voice. Shawn is also frustrated about what the mag teased of his interview on Twitter that has some fans upset.

“I have no idea why they would say that. I did not say that!!!” Shawn shared, when one fan pointed out the headline – ‘His Fans Don’t Truly Know Him’.

He added, “I explained how I’m growing up and so are you guys and how it takes time for you all to fully understand me and me to understand you. It’s really unfortunate when what you say gets turned into the bad version of it. I’m sorry guys and the part that I spoke about how much my fans mean to me and what I owe them is not even touched on.”
