Chloe Moretz Addresses Twitter Drama With Kim Kardashian

Chloe Moretz has commented about the opinions she voiced earlier this year in reaction to a NSFW selfie that Kim Kardashian shared, in which Kim is not wearing anything.

“@KimKardashian I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than … just our bodies,” Chloe tweeted back in March.

Kim then responded, “”Let’s all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is.”

While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter recently at the 2016 Deauville American Film Festival where Chloe received the Rising Star AwardChloe addressed the NSFW selfie feud.

“I think I gave my attention to people who don’t deserve my attention,” Chloe told THR. “In some ways I think I regret giving them the attention, [though] I don’t regret what I said.”

“I realized that being the most opinionated and loud person in the room is not always the most impactful,” she went on. “I learned that from Hillary [Clinton].” (Chloe gave a speech at the Democratic National Convention back in July.)

“It’s great to be feisty,’ those were [Hillary's] exact words,” Chloe added. “But sometimes the smartest way to get into the psyche of people is to be the quietest person in the room. Let everyone else bicker and throw their words around and then you come in with the quiet voice and that will be the most impactful.”
