Ariel Winter Loves To Embarrass Co-Star Nolan Gould Every Chance She Gets

Ariel Winter stops by Amazon’s Style Code Live for her appearance on Thursday (October 20) in New York City.

The 18-year-old actress chatted about getting involved with the Dove Self Esteem Product, her recent magazine cover, and embarrassing Nolan Gould. Check it:

On Dove Self Esteem Product: “I’m really honored to be a part of because I think it’s so amazing that a big company is working to do something so special and really their initiative and their goal is just to empower women to love themselves and love their bodies and to really be as positive as they can be especially online. In this day in age young women grow up in a really negative online world. The cool thing right now is to be negative and post snarky mean comments on people pictures and videos and everything. Working with dove is really amazing because they working to combat that so women can grow up in a world that is much more positive and we are just trying to inspire young women to love themselves and to help other women love themselves as well. I’ve always said it’s the easiest thing to take a minute out of your day and just go write something positive on someone’s page because it does a lot. Seeing that one comment of your friend or your family member or someone you don’t know at all write on your page and tell you they really like your outfit and that you look really nice in anything that you’re doing I think is really inspiring and makes a big difference so I’m really honored to work with the Dove Self Esteem Project.”

On the Modern Family Halloween episode: “My favorite is my costar Nolan Gould’s costume, I’m not gonna tell you what it is but it’s hilarious and something super bizarre and got him wearing little clothes which I thought was so funny. We love to embarrass him; we love to embarrass him it’s so much fun. Oh totally. We are really close we are only 9 months apart. We are kind of going through the same things in life so it’s really cool. I know it’s so weird it’s a very deep voice and he is so tall and has abs, it’s like what happened.”

On her Seventeen Magazine cover: “That was really exciting. I think it’s definitely nerve wracking for me to do photo shoots just because I am the worst at posing. I am so bad at it, I watch the models do it all day and am like how do you do that, that’s so exciting. For me I’m like the worst cause I’m like so awkward I’m like hey what’s up I’m just gonna put my hand on my hip and stand here and smile! Photoshoots are fun it’s nice to get dolled up and go and do that and have the photos later, its fun.”
