Let’s face it, one of the best things to come out of High School Musical was Zanessa (Forever!), the real-life romance between Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron.
Zac and Vanessa met on the set of the movie in 2005 and ended up dating for four years, which seems like forever in the timeline of young Hollywood romance.
After their split in 2010, Vanessa got real about how difficult it was dating one of the hottest guys in Hollywood.
“Girls were running after him, and I was giving them death stares,” Vanessa, now the star of the NBC’s adorable superhero show Powerless, confessed.
Who could blame her?
That, and the long distance that comes with two skyrocketing careers, was their relationship deal-breaker.
It’s nothing Vanessa is fretting over. She and Austin Butler have been couples goals since 2011.
And although Zac and V have never shared a bad word about each other, she did make a surprising confession about their current relationship status.

Turns out Vanessa and Zac don’t talk at all any more.
Not because they are mad at each other.
V explains to Access Hollywood Live that she just “completely lost contact with him.”
It’s probably for the best, since they both have totally moved on! We mean, just look at this photo:
