Zendaya Told Disney Channel To Change the Original Title of 'K.C. Undercover'

Zendaya knew when she signed on to do Disney Channel’s K.C. Undercover, she had a lot of power.

The 20-year-old actress was fresh off the success of Shake It Up, and wanted to make sure her voice was heard by the network.

“I got in a room with the heads of Disney Channel,” Z told Vogue, explaining that the original title of the show was Super Awesome Katy. “I was like, ‘The title is whack. That’s gonna change.’”

She also wasn’t a fan of her character’s name…

“Do I look like a Katy to you?” she told them. (We love that she sticks up for her beliefs!)
