'iZombie' Is Permanently A Midseason Show For the CW; Here's What That Actually Means

During the TCA Tour yesterday in Los Angeles, CW president Mark Pedowitz opened up about the future of iZombie and if we’ll be seeing another season past season 4, which they’re working on right now.

His answer? It’s firmly a midseason drama, which means that the show will probably always live on the bubble and fans will be biting their nails and launching multiple campaigns to get it renewed for the foreseeable future.

That being said though, there haven’t been any convos about season 4 being the last of iZombie either.

“If and when we get there, we’ll sit down with [co-creator] Rob Thomas and we’ll figure it out,” he promised. “At this moment in time, I’m not planning on having that series end.”

We’ll take it, but we’re still planning those campaigns to renew it too.
