Sabrina Carpenter Opens Up About The Importance of Singing 'Alone Together' on Her De-Tour

If you’ve been to a concert on Sabrina Carpenter‘s new tour, the De-Tour, you know that at the end of every show, she plays an unreleased song called “Alone Together”.

In a new interview, the singer is opening up about the importance of the track in connecting with her fans.

“There’s a lot of us that feel alone, but we don’t realize that we’re alone together,” Sabrina shares. “I wanted it to kind of feel like it was a score to a movie and feel like it was cinematic.”

She adds about the feeling she gets from it, and to know that her fans are right there singing it with her, “To have them in front of you knowing that everyone can relate to that. I think that’s been a really great, exciting part for me.”

“I thought it would be fun to do a song no one’s ever heard before and a song that I’m not quite sure where it will end up.”

Sabrina adds, “It is such a powerful thing to be able to unite so many people.”
