Dylan O'Brien Remembers Everything About His 'Maze Runner' Accident

Last year, Dylan O’Brien was at the center of a physical stunt on The Maze Runner: The Death Cure and everything was going as planned — until it wasn’t.

On top of suffering from a concussion, the actor also had a facial fracture, and during his recovery had panic attacks and was definitely angry about what happened to him.

Even more shocking is that Dylan told People in a new interview that he remembers every single moment of his accident.

“I definitely remember what happened,” he shared. “I lose detail when I went out, so on impact basically.”

Dylan continues, “The memory of it – the weird thing I learned is that your body is more aware of what happened to you even if you are not, in a way. Like you have these uncontrollable reactions to a situation like that that you don’t even see coming, or expect. You don’t fully become cognizant for weeks after, that was basically it.”

Thankfully, with his parents and girlfriend Britt Robertson by his side, Dylan is back on his feet and his brand new movie, American Assassin is out this weekend!
