Selena Gomez Pictured for First Time After Kidney Transplant News

Selena Gomez is getting back to work after revealing that she had a kidney transplant this summer.

The 25-year-old actress and singer was seen filming the new Woody Allen project on Thursday morning (September 14) in New York City. Also seen on the set with Selena was Timothee Chalamet.

Selena suffers from Lupus and the disease required her to get a new kidney, which was donated by her friend Francia Raisa.

If you didn’t know, Lupus is a “chronic inflammatory disease that occurs when your body’s immune system attacks your own tissues and organs,” the Mayo Clinic reports.
