Niall Horan Celebrates Going #1 in Ireland: 'An Insane Feeling'

Niall Horan tours all over the world, but he always feels homesick for his home base in Ireland.

For the same reason many artists love to perform in their hometowns, the “Mirrors” singer is especially proud of the success of his music in his country of origin.

“To go number 1 in my homeland is an insane feeling,” Niall tweeted today. “So happy!!!!! Thank you all so much.” He also tweeted the Irish flag emoji, to clarify his hometown pride.

Judging by the comments, it’s safe to say his Irish fans are prouder of him than ever.
