Hailee Steinfeld Dishes On Her Next Movie 'Bumblebee'

Hailee Steinfeld is opening up about her next new movie, Bumblebee!

In the 80s set flick, the 21-year-old actress plays Charlie Watson, a rock ‘n roll loving teen who gets to accompany the Bumblebee on his first solo adventure.

“I liked the opportunity of creating something new and different but obviously it is under the same roof of these films that I am a fan of,” Hailee told IGN recently. “I didn’t have any reservations, maybe a few nerves just because of the fact the fanbase is so incredibly loyal and hardcore.

She adds that the movie itself is “very character-driven and storyline-driven, which is good.”

“I think will be interesting to see it play out because you still get the action and the Transformers themselves,” Hailee says. “There’s a whole lot in it for the Transformers fans that I think they’ll love, but it’s definitely about storyline and characters.”

Bumblebee is set to premiere December 21st, 2018
