Nick Jonas Tried To Impress An Older Girl, But Failed Miserably

Nick Jonas is opening up about a time he tried to really impress an older woman when he was just 18.

The 25-year-old actor and musician made an appearance on Anna Faris‘ podcast Unqualified and dished on when he tried to use his name in the peak of his fame at the time to get into a restaurant.

“I get to the door and he doesn’t recognize me, which is totally fine, happens a lot,” Nick said. He then tried to give one of his alias names that he uses but the doorman said he still wasn’t on the list.

“I was so mortified, I was trying to impress this girl that was older than me� really at like a peak moment of success at my career. And yet I have to tell the doorman, ‘Listen, I’m Nick Jonas,’” he continued. “I was about to get in his face and I just pull out my ID� and was like ‘See, it’s right there,’ [I] put it back in my pocket and was like ‘we’re leaving’ and we left. We grabbed like Pink Taco or something instead.”

“I think those moments are important though, to understand what your awareness of this thing is and how to approach it in a graceful way,” Nick added.

Based off of who he was dating at 18, we’re pretty sure he could be referring to ex Delta Goodrem.
