Mona Might Get A New Relationship on 'The Perfectionists'

Let’s face it, Mona is possibly the best character in the Pretty Little Liars fandom.

Of course, we might be biased, so it’s all music to our ears when we hear I. Marlene King talk about what’s coming for the character in The Perfectionists.

Chatting with ET recently, Marlene gave us all the goods about where and how we’ll find Mona, played by Janel Parrish, in the upcoming spinoff.

“You never really know whether you can trust her or not, and that continues to be her truth in this new story,” she shared.

But first things first – we will get answers about that Parisian dollhouse. Like, are Alex and Mary Drake still there?

“You definitely will get that answer in a very cheeky Mona way,” Marlene confirms, before segueing into this juicy tidbit: a new relationship!

“I think it’s her turn,” she adds. “As an actress and as a character, for us to have a lot more time to spend with her and really get to know Mona better than we already do.”

The Perfectionists is set to premiere in 2019 on Freeform.
