'Arrow' Will Have A Future-Based Episode That Will Reveal Everything About Blackstar

Katherine McNamara‘s Blackstar is getting a backstory on Arrow.

Showrunner Beth Schwartz revealed that a special episode coming up will reveal just how Blackstar was born and who she really is – and it’s set in the future.

“We’re actually going to have an all-future episode, [Episode] 16, which will answer all the questions, including the backstory of Blackstar, how she came to be in this group…” she shared with TVLine in a new interview.

Beth added that the episode will have “more surprises ahead as we fill in the blanks about what has been going on. That episode is titled ‘Star City 2040.’”
