Twitter Is Praising Nickelodeon's 'Blue's Clues & You' For LGBTQ+ Representation In Alphabet Song!

Blue’s Clues & You! is getting a lot of attention on Thursday (February 12)!

The Nickelodeon series premiered a new alphabet song for kids, and what’s drawing people in the most is the letter “P.”

In the song, they get to the letter and sing, “And P is full of pride!” while showing off an array of LGBTQIA+ flags.

The different flags represented include those for transgender, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, intersex, genderfluid, nonbinary and lesbian. The letter “P” also displays the Progress Pride Flag, which includes the original rainbow, with the addition of black and brown stripes for POC, and the trans color stripes.

Many people took to Twitter to praise the kids’ show for it’s inclusion and representation of the LGBTQIA+ community.

“Just when I thought this show couldn’t get more legendary. Good for you blue’s clues! Always was my favorite show from when I was very small!” one user wrote.

“This actually just made me really emotional. I loved Blue’s Clues as a kid,” another said.

If you missed it, this isn’t the first time that Nickelodeon has spoken out about the LGBTQIA+ community. The network celebrated Pride last June and seemingly confirmed these characters were members of the community.

Nick also showed support for it’s big star JoJo Siwa after she came out last month!
