Alexandra Shipp Joins the Cast of Upcoming Live Action 'Barbie' Movie!

Alexandra Shipp becomes the latest star to be cast in the new Barbie movie!

The tick, tick…BOOM! star is joining quite the star studded cast of the upcoming live action film, Variety reveals.

“come on Barbie let’s go party 🎀👠,” Alexandra shared on Instagram with the news.

Plot details on the film remain under wraps, along with Alexandra‘s role in the movie.

The only things we do know is that Margot Robbie will play Barbie, Ryan Gosling will play Ken, and Greta Gerwig is directing from a script she co-wrote with her partner Noah Baumbach.

Also cast in the movie are America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Kate McKinnon and Ariana Greenblatt, who was announced earlier this month.

Also being announced, Alexandra has been cast in a minor role in the upcoming sci-fi film 65, which stars Adam Driver. Ariana Greenblatt also stars in that movie.
