Finn Wolfhard To Write & Direct Upcoming Movie 'Hell of a Summer' with Billy Bryk

Finn Wolfhard is making his feature film writing and directing debut!

It was just announced on Tuesday (July 12) that the Stranger Things star co-wrote and will co-direct the upcoming movie Hell of a Summer, according to THR.

Finn will work alongside Billy Bryk, and they’ll also star in the movie with Fred Hechinger.

Plot details are being kept under wraps at this time.

“I am so excited to be co-directing my first feature film. I get the chance to work with an incredible cast and crew, and to work with a company like 30West and Aggregate is a real dream,” Finn said in a statement.

30West is financing and executive producing the movie, with Fred and Jason Bateman also producing.

Production begins this month in Ontario, Canada.

If you didn’t know, Finn and Billy worked together on Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and will likely be returning for the sequel.
