OlderHalle Bailey Recreates OG 'The Little Mermaid' Pose on New Poster
Halle Bailey stars front and center on the new poster for her upcoming Disney movie The Little Mermaid!
The actress takes on the titular role in the live-acting reimagining of the classic animated movie.
In addition to the poster, Disney revealed that the full trailer will drop THIS Sunday (March 12) during the 2023 Oscars, where Halle and co-star Melissa McCarthy are confirmed as presenters.
Recently, Halle opened up about Melissa and her portrayal of sea witch Ursula.

“People are gonna be so amazed [by] her job [playing] Ursula,” she told ET at the Kids’ Choice Awards. “First of all, she’s a beautiful human being, so talented, and the way she just consumes Ursula is so beautiful. I’m just so proud of her and I can’t wait for people to see it.”
“She has this very kind of maternal trickiness to her when it comes to tricking Ariel in the film, so I got to be consumed in her world and falling into her spell,” Halle added. “It wasn’t so much like mean, mean. It was like [Ariel] looking for a maternal figure.”
Speaking of the Kids’ Choice Awards, Halle and co-star Awkwafina dunked Melissa in slime at the awards show. Check out the video here!
