Lauren Jauregui Disses Elon Musk After She's Re-Verified on the App After Refusing to Pay

Lauren Jauregui went in on Elon Musk in a series of tweets after she was verified on Twitter again.

The member of Fifth Harmony turned solo star lost her checkmark on the app earlier this month after she refused to pay to remain verified.

However, over the weekend she and many other stars saw that their checkmarks were returning. A pop-up implies that they have paid to be verified.

Lauren had some thoughts about that, and they involved calling Elon a “clown.”

She took to Twitter on Saturday (April 22) to react to the sudden about-face in policy.

“Wait a minute now😂 y’all do you really think I paid for this???😂😂😂 thank you for my blue check back but I guarantee I didn’t pay, unless Elon took up my tab too,” she wrote. Elon has said that he’s paying for some celebs to be verified on Twitter, seemingly as a way of trolling them.

She continued, calling the verification a lie since clicking on her checkmark opens a pop-up that implies she paid.

“That has to be fraud somehow right? You think I’d pull out my wallet after talking all that s-it? This is embarrassing,” she wrote. Lauren previously told Elon that she would most assuredly not pay and said he could “suck my c-it.” She responded to that tweet, saying that she stood by her initial feelings.

“Honestly what a clown..and weird marketing tactic. It’s so deceitful and weeeeirrrddddd like?! You just lying to these people and for what,” she continued.
