The intense season two trailer for Cruel Summer is finally here!

Sadie Stanley and Lexi Underwood are starring in the upcoming new season, which of course features an entirely new cast, teasing that “There are two side to every secret.”

In the trailer, we find the two ladies at the center of a potential murder investigation.

Here’s a synopsis: Set in an idyllic waterfront town in the Pacific Northwest, the next chapter of Cruel Summer follows the rise and fall of an intense teenage friendship. Approaching the story from three different timelines surrounding Y2K, the season twists and turns as it tracks the early friendship between Megan, Isabella and Megan’s best friend Luke, the love triangle that blossomed, and the mystery that would impact all of their lives going forward.

Also starring in the new season are Griffin Gluck, KaDee Strickland, Lisa Yamada and Sean Blakemore, with Paul Adelstein in a recurring role.

Cruel Summer season two debuts on Monday, June 5th at 9pm ET/PT on Freeform with the first two episodes, followed by new episodes weekly at 10pm ET/PT.
