Sydney Sweeney Reveals What Drew Her to 'Reality' Movie Role
Sydney Sweeney wears a sheer dress while stepping out at the premiere of her new movie Reality held at the Museum of Modern Art on Tuesday (May 16) in New York City.
The 25-year-old actress was joined at the event by her co-stars Josh Hamilton, Marchant Davis, Benny Elledge and John Way, as well as writer/director Tina Satter.
Recently, Sydney opened up about what drew her to this role.
Check out what she said inside…
“I am always searching for characters that I haven’t done before or challenged me in new ways than previous ones have,” she told Gold Derby. “So when Reality came across my table, I was very much drawn to it because of the challenge. And just the script itself. It was just a completely different thing than I’ve ever seen before.”
Here’s a synopsis for the upcoming movie: On June 3, 2017, 25-year-old former American intelligence specialist Reality Winner (Sweeney) is confronted by FBI agents arriving at her home to question her suspected role in the mishandling of classified information. Based on true events, the film’s dialogue is directly from the transcript of their tense and transfixing conversation.
Reality will premiere on Monday, May 29th on Max. Check out the trailer here!
