Rachel Zegler Exits 'Paddington in Peru,' Reason Why Revealed

Bad news from the Paddington Bear universe!

The third film in the franchise – Paddington in Peru – was just given a release date of January 17, 2025.

Rachel Zegler was set to join the film in a new role opposite Antonio Banderas, who was also joining.

Unfortunately, THR reports that Rachel has had to exit the film! The reason give? The ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. In the film, Antonio is set to play a hunter named Cabot, who helps the Brown family on their journey to the South American country of Peru. Rachel was going to play his daughter. Newcomer Carla Tous will now step into the role.
