Cheryl Blossom Could Be Even More of a Mean Girl in 'Riverdale' Season 2
Madelaine Petsch cozies up to boyfriend Travis Mills on the red carpet at Entertainment Weekly’s annual Comic-Con party over the weekend.
The Riverdale starlet and her musician boyfriend were also spotted at the NYLON and NVE After-Con event on Saturday night (July 22).
Madelaine opened up about Cheryl Blossom at the annual event, revealing that fans can expect to see a soft side and a new mean side to Cheryl in season two.
“She’s seeked help, she’s making a conscious decision to take control of her life and to be happier in her right, which doesn’t necessarily mean she’s going to be happier with other people involved,” Madelaine explained.
She adds, “She’s taking control, getting meaner and colder to people around her because it’s the only way she can feel protected. To the outside world, she will be a lot meaner, but in her head she’s just doing what she can to cope.”
Riverdale season two will premiere in October on The CW.
