Miley Cyrus Tearfully Responds to Election Results - Watch Now

Miley Cyrus is sharing her reaction to the news that Donald Trump was elected the next president.

The 24-year-old singer, who has been a big supporter of Hillary Clinton, took to social media to post a video tearfully pleading for love and compassion following the election results.

“So, probably like most people – well, maybe not, because given the result – maybe I really am different and maybe a lot of people that I’m surrounded by think with open minds and open hearts like I do,” she began.

Miley cotinued, “I still think that, in [Hillary's] lifetime, she deserves to be the first female president, and that’s what makes me so sad. I wish she had an opportunity because she fought for so long and because I believe her when she says that she loves this country. This is all she’s ever done; she’s given her life to make it better.”

She later added, “Hopefully we adjust and we accept everyone for who they are, and, so, Donald Trump, I accept you. This hurts to say, but I even accept you as President of the United States, and that’s fine, because, now, I want to be a hopeful hippie. I want to be hopeful that you will step in, too.”

Miley also took to her Instagram to write a heartfelt message encouraging fans to be loving and compassionate towards one another.

Troian Bellsario Opens Up About Anorexia Struggles & Why She's Voting for Hillary Clinton

Troian Bellsario Opens Up About Anorexia Struggles & Why She's Voting for Hillary Clinton

Troian Bellsario tells us why she’s voting for Hillary Clinton in this brand new ATTN video.

The Pretty Little Liars star opens up about her past battles with anorexia and why that’s a factor in this year’s election for her.

“I’m such a huge supporter of Mrs. Clinton for so many reasons, specifically because she has been such a huge advocate for health care, and her definition of health care includes mental health care,” Troian says in the video, which you can watch below. “And that to me is just – it’s the deciding factor between both candidates.”

She continued, “With anorexia, a lot of it is about presenting a front of everything is OK, as you’re slowly killing yourself. Gone were the days where I was just a happy, carefree kid running around and suddenly I felt this inability to interact with people and to nourish myself.”

“If I had just been shunned to the side as not having ‘real problems,’ I don’t know that I would be living today,” Troian added. “I just want to make sure that everybody has the same opportunity for treatment that I have, and I think that we have to make sure that our government invests in those programs.”

Camila Cabello Speaks Out Against Donald Trump: 'Your Voice Matters'

It’s safe to say that Camila Cabello will not be voting for Donald Trump on Election Day.

The 19-year-old Fifth Harmony singer took to Instagram to post an excerpt from the Humans of NY account.

“Your voice matters, your voice makes a difference” #ElectionFinalThoughts,” Camila tweeted about it.

“There are enough of us who understand that this is not a normal election,” the post reads. “This is not a normal man. We cannot validate his lies with the authority of the presidency.”

It continues, “This election is about preventing a dangerous demagogue from becoming the most powerful man in the world…But we must vote. We must nudge each other. We must drive each other to the polls. We must make calls, and send texts, and knock on doors, and we must not allow anyone to accuse us of ‘being political.’ Because this isn’t ‘politics as usual.’”
