Alex Pettyfer reassures Dianna Agron that he won’t let anything happen to her in this new promo for their upcoming flick, I Am Number Four.
JJJ chatted with star Callan McAuliffe on the set of the flick over the summer and he revealed that he’s definitely a believer that there’s something else out there.
Callan shared, “I mean… There’s gotta be something out there. There’s got to be some planet that’s close enough to have life. It’s possible but I never really was super into it like [my character] is. I guess I can relate cause I’m a boy. That’s about the only similarity (Laughs).”

Alex Pettyfer is going from a beast (Beastly), to an alien (I Am Number Four) and now to a race car driver.
ComingSoon.net reports that the 20-year-old actor will play the title character in DreamWorks Pictures’ adaptation of Tom Rubython’s book, “Shunt: The Story of James Hunt.”
The book’s summary: James Hunt is remembered more for his girlfriends and wild personal exploits than for his skills in a race car. But the excesses of his glamorous life cannot hide the fact that he was, in many people’s opinion, the fastest driver on the Formula One circuits in the 1970s. In an era dominated by the likes of Emerson Fittipaldi, Niki Lauda and Ronnie Peterson, Hunt stood out in terms of raw speed and his seemingly effortless ability to plant a Formula One car on pole position. In this full and comprehensive account of the life of James Hunt, the author and his researchers have examined every detail of the driver’s life �” from his very earliest days to the last hours of his existence �” as well as the lives of the people he left behind.
Alex will also produce the film next to John Palermo.

After a opening date move and a new poster, we finally get a new trailer for Vanessa Hudgens‘ upcoming flick, Beastly!
The full summary: Kyle Kingson (Alex Pettyfer) has it all — looks, intelligence, wealth and opportunity — and a wicked cruel streak. Prone to mocking and humiliating “aggressively unattractive” classmates, he zeroes in on Goth classmate Kendra (Mary-Kate Olsen), inviting her to the school’s extravagant environmental bash. Kendra accepts, and, true to form, Kyle blows her off in a particularly savage fashion.
She retaliates by casting a spell that physically transforms him into everything he despises. Enraged by his horrible and unrecognizable appearance he confronts Kendra and learns that the only solution to the curse is to find someone that will love him as he is — a task he considers impossible.
Beastly opens March 18, 2011.

The I Am Number Four costars shared a smooch before browsing for furniture and checking out some puppies on their way back. Alex also spotted a motorcycle that he had to take a ride on.
Alex also showed off how high he could jump!

Alex Pettyfer rips open a pack of Skittles with his teeth as he and new girlfriend Dianna Agron gas up her car on Saturday afternoon (August 28).
The duo were spotted horsing before going to grab breakfast at Beverliz Cafe in Beverly Hills.
Dianna, 24, wasn’t admitting to anyone on the 2010 Emmy Awards red carpet that she was dating anyone. She wore a gorgeous Carolina Herrera dress and covered herself in $140,000 worth of diamonds by Cartier.

Alex Pettyfer helps his new girlfriend Dianna Agron shoot some hoops while on break from filming Glee in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (August 23).
The duo star in the upcoming I Am Number Four, story of nine aliens who escape their planet and hide out on Earth. Disguised as a human teenager, the title character (Pettyfer) discovers that he is being hunted by the enemy that destroyed his planet.
The novel of the same name by Pittacus Lore is currently at #7 on the New York Times Best Sellers List. Have you picked up the book yet? You must! JJJ just got done reading it and it’s a fantastic adventure of what-ifs and action.
