Daryl Sabara and Alexa PenaVega had a little Cortez sibling reunion last week in New York City!
The former Spy Kids co-stars were both in town and met up on Thursday (October 20).
Daryl was in the city with his wife Meghan Trainor, who is promoting her new album Takin’ It Back, while Alexa was in town with hubby Carlos PenaVega as they promoted their new children’s book, which is out now, and to celebrate Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas.
Meghan dished on the Spy Kids reunion while appearing on The TODAY Show, and revealed what Carlos said to her.

While some Hallmark stars have left the network for Great American Family, Alexa and Carlos PenaVega are staying put!
The actors and couple have signed on for a multi-picture deal with the network, according to Deadline.

Alexa PenaVega is opening up about her family’s recent traumatic accident.
The actress apologized to fans on Instagram story earlier this week for being so absent lately due to an accident, and now she’s revealing what happened.
Alexa and her husband Carlos now live in Hawai’i and are parents to three children, Ocean (4), Kingston (2) and baby Rio (5 months). Kingston, who is often featured in cute videos on Carlos‘ Instagram, suffered quite the injury late last week.

Alexa and Carlos PenaVega just announced the birth of their third baby!!
The couple shared the news on Instagram with a shared statement on both of their accounts.
Carlos and Alexa‘s new baby, a little girl named Rio, joins brothers Kingston (1) and Ocean (4).

The PenaVega family is getting even bigger!!
Alexa and Carlos slyly revealed that their third baby is on the way and due in 2021.
The couple, who are parents to Ocean (4) and Kingston (1), made their announcement in the new Big Time Rush music video that was just released.
At one point in the video, it showed Carlos and Alexa lying on the grass as he sings along to the song, then she gets up and pulls up her shirt to reveal writing on her stomach, “Baby #3 2021″
Alexa joined the guys of BTR in sharing the video on their Instagram accounts, and she captioned her post, “I will always be obsessed with @bigtimerush ! Enjoy this awesome video by our favorite guys! 🥰 @therealcarlospena @kendallschmidt @jamesmaslow @loganhenderson”
The couple also star in the movie Mighty Oak, which was released earlier this year. The film will be heading to Hulu next month. Find out when here!

The Pretty Little Liars actress plays Gina “Jean Jacket” Jackson in the upcoming film Mighty Oak, alongside Alexa and Carlos PenaVega, Raven Symoné, Levi Dylan and Tommy Ragen.
Here’s a synopsis: Gina and Vaughn are the sister and brother duo taking the SoCal music scene by storm with their band Army of Love. Gina “Jean Jacket” Jackson (Parrish) is behind the scenes as the savvy and determined music manager while her talented brother Vaughn Jackson (Dylan) is the gifted frontman of their popular band.
On the night of their biggest break yet, the siblings’ bond is shattered when Vaughn is killed in a tragic car accident and Gina is unable to pick up the pieces of her life.
Ten years later, a 4th grade guitar prodigy named Oak Scoggins (Ragen) enters Gina’s orbit, and she becomes convinced that this child must be the reincarnation of Vaughn. While Oak does have Vaughn’s talent and some of his traits, Gina’s friends become concerned with her decision to re-launch their long dormant band with Oak as the frontman taking Vaughn’s place.
Oak comes from a disadvantaged household and as he is thrust into the spotlight, he finds that music is the perfect escape and the much needed outlet for his pain. Gina in turn finds an outlet for her grief and a way back into living life out loud and to the fullest.
Mighty Oak will be released in theaters NEXT Friday (June 5)!
