Katy Perry & Ariana Grande Share an Emotional Hug Backstage at Manchester One Love

Ariana Grande‘s emotional Manchester One Love Benefit concert was viewed worldwide, acting for many as a source of comfort and respite from the terrible violence in Manchester.

In a new video released from the event, we can see Katy Perry‘s experience backstage, including her interactions with fellow performers Justin Bieber, Niall Horan, Miley Cyrus, and, most notably, Ariana.

Katy rehearses her acoustic rendition of “Part of Me,” in the video. She also jokes around with Miley, gives Justin a warm hug, and takes a selfie with Niall, as one does.

“It’s awesome that you’re here,” Justin tells her, smiling big.

The best part of the video, though, is the end. After Katy‘s set, Ariana gives her a long, heartfelt hug that seems to last forever, and that alone is reason enough to watch.

Ariana Grande is Auctioning Off her Glitzy 'Dangerous Woman' Tiara

Arianators rejoice: Ariana Grande is auctioning off her glitzy tiara (you know the one) and it just went up for sale yesterday.

Unfortunately, it’s not exactly affordable. The crown went up for auction for $5,000 yesterday, Billboard reports, and it will be auctioned off by Nate D. Sanders Auctions.

The stunning tiara was designed for Ariana specifically by Mary Collins of Vauje Jewelry. It has handset rhinestones and spikes, and, as all of you know, it’s breathtaking.

It will be up for auction until Thursday (June 22) at 8 p.m. The highest bidder not only gets the crown, but a note of authenticity and photos of Ariana wearing the crown — a gift in itself.

Ariana Grande Receives Big Honor from City of Manchester

Ariana Grande Receives Big Honor from City of Manchester

Ariana Grande is getting a big honor due to her massive response to the Manchester attacks at her concert back in May.

The 23-year-old entertainer is being offered honorary citizenship due to her amazing efforts organizing the One Love Manchester Benefit concert in the aftermath.

“This seems a fitting moment to update the way we recognize those who make noteworthy contributions to the life and success of our city,” Manchester city council leader Sir Richard Leese told BBC News. “We’ve all had cause to be incredibly proud of Manchester and the resilient and compassionate way in which the city, and all those associated with it, have responded to the terrible events of 22 May, with love and courage rather than hatred and fear. Ariana Grande exemplified this response. I think many people would already consider her an honorary Mancunian and we would be delighted, if the council approves the proposal, to make it official.”

Ariana helped raise millions of dollars for those affected by the terrorist attacks with her benefit concert.

Plans to award honorary citizenship would go before a council in July.

Ariana Grande's Mom Rapping to Mac Miller is Everything You Need to See Today

Pop star Ariana Grande‘s mom, Joan Grande, has been in the news lately for comforting her daughter — and displaying compassionate heroics — in response to the heartbreaking Manchester violence.

That said, she also packs a sick beat and this NEEDS to be known.

A new video has surfaced on Twitter of Joan rapping to the Mac Miller verse from “The Way” — and it’s everything.

Ariana is clearly performing at a concert, and after she sings her part, she passes the microphone to her mom in the audience, shouting: “Go Mommy!”

To the delight of Ariana‘s fans, Joan delivers, rapping the verse on perfect beat, complete with dance moves and exactly the right amount of sass.

Can… can Joan release a rap album? Asking for a friend.

Ariana Grande's New Bee Tattoo for Manchester is So Powerful; See What It Symbolizes

Ariana Grande's New Bee Tattoo for Manchester is So Powerful; See What It Symbolizes

Ariana Grande has not only helped raised millions of dollars for the victims of the 2017 Manchester Bombing, she has permanently bonded with the city by reportedly getting a tattoo of a bee.

Why a bee?

Because it is the city of Manchester’s most powerful and representative symbol.

“It’s the symbol of the industrial revolution in Manchester when the cotton mills started up back in the 1800s,” British tattoo artist Dan Leicester explains to MTV. “The cotton mills were called hives and everyone that came to them were like the worker bees, and now it’s become a symbol for the city. You can’t walk around without seeing it.”

Immediately after the bombing, tattoo artist Sam Barber had the idea to launch a tattoo fundraising campaign that would both raise money and unite the people who were inked.

People in England, Europe and around the world have been inked with a bee to show their support.

The Manchester Tattoo Appeal has raised over $500,000, as participating tattoo artists donate their time, while the price of the tattoo is donated directly to the fund.
