Danielle Panabaker is making her actual goals come true!

It was just announced today that the 30-year-old actress will making her directorial debut on The Flash this upcoming season!

“I’m incredibly excited and grateful to be directing my first episode of television, and especially honored that it will be an episode of The Flash,” she shared with ET. “Over the past 15 years, I have been lucky to work with many talented directors with a vast array of styles and methods. I have always loved the collaborative process, and my insatiable curiosity has lead me to watch, learn, and absorb as much as I can from those around me.”

“I am so humbled by this opportunity to utilize everything that I have learned as a storyteller to bring an episode of The Flash to life,” Danielle added. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to have the chance to work alongside our extremely talented (and vast) team that works so hard to make each and every episode of the show.”

“I wouldn’t be here without the support of my Flash family, and I am so thankful for this opportunity to continue to grow and challenge myself as an artist.”

Danielle first opened up about directing a future episode late last year.

To promote their upcoming appearance at the 2018 San Diego Comic-Con next week, the show released a cute promo image featuring the baby pics of stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, and new series regulars, Hartley Sawyer, Danielle Nicolet, and Jessica Parker Kennedy.

“One week til San Diego Comic Con! Look at these sweet faces ❤️ Class of 2018!” Danielle P captioned on her Instagram.

Candice added, “I’ll be cos-playing as 5 year old @daninicolet at this years comic con cuz it’s a LEWK honey! So get excited!”

Joined by Jesse L. Martin, Tom Cavanagh, and Carlos Valdes, the cast will host a screening and Q&A panel event in Ballroom 20 from 5:45–6:30 p.m., on Saturday, July 21st.

Danielle Panabaker just welcomed a new fur baby into her family and he’s so adorable!

The Flash actress shared a pic of the pup to her social media pages, introducing her fans to Elliot.

“We are so lucky to welcome Elliot into our family. Thank you @apurposefulrescue for saving him and bringing him into our lives,” she wrote.

Elliot joins the family just shortly after Danielle, and her husband Hayes, lost their other dog, Bella, to cancer.

Lucy Hale and Riley Smith showed their style while attending Max Mara: 2018 Women in Film’s Face Of The Future event!

The actress and actor hit the red carpet at the event on Tuesday night (June 12) at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

They were also joined at the event by Danielle Panabaker, Debby Ryan, Ally Maki, Maddie Hasson, Lucy Fry and Kelsey Asbille.

During the event, Max Mara celebrated Alexandra Shipp as the 2018 Women In Film Max Mara Face of the Future Award recipient. This honors an actress who is experiencing a turning point in her career through her work in the film and television industries with focus on her contributions to the community at large and recognizes her outstanding personal achievements and embodiment of style and grace.

FYI: Lucy H is wearing Max Mara with Brian Atwood shoes. Danielle, Maddie, Kelsey and Lucy F are all wearing Max Mara.

Iris (Candice Patton) chats with Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) for a bit in this new still from tonight’s all-new The Flash.

In the episode, not only does Citizen Cold (Wentworth Miller) return to help Barry (Grant Gustin) when he needs help transporting a dangerous meta – but Caitlin is mourning the loss of Killer Frost.

If you remember from last week’s episode, DeVoe actually used Melting Point’s ability to swap people’s DNA – and as a result, stole Killer Frost from her.

Danielle recently chatted with EW about the loss of Killer Frost, revealing that it’s not only taking a toll on Caitlin, but the team as well.

“It affects her a lot. Emotionally, it affects her, but also logically,” she says. “There is the scientist doctor inside of her who needs answers, so we’re going to see her try various different techniques to try and get Killer Frost to come out, and that does lead her to delve a little bit deeper into who Killer Frost is.”

On top of that, Caitlin isn’t able to “suit up” as Killer Frost to assist the team anymore either.

“It does frustrate her, for sure,” she adds. “There’s a moment in one of the episodes where Flash looks to Cisco and Caitlin and says, ‘Okay, suit up,’ and then he looks at Caitlin and he says, ‘Oh.’ It’s a sad moment where the team doesn’t have Killer Frost to rely on anymore.”

The Flash airs TONIGHT @ 8PM ET/PT on The CW.

Danielle Panabaker‘s adorable dog, Bella, has unfortunately passed away.

The Flash star shared a sweet message on social media about Bella‘s passing with her fans.

“Last night, we had to say the hardest goodbye to our sweet Bella,” she wrote. “I am so grateful for the gift she was to me and to us.”

Danielle added, “I’m heartbroken. May she rest in peace.”

Katie Cassidy was one of the first of Danielle‘s Arrowverse co-stars to send her love.

“Im so sorry. The sweet little BellBell will be in our hearts forever….. i ❤️ you,” she wrote on Twitter.

Not tonight, but very soon, we’ll be seeing a young version of Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) on The Flash.

EW reports that the flashback will happen before the season’s end and the young version will be played by Victoria Askounis.

But before that can talk about what’s going on there, we NEED to talk about Killer Frost and her relationship with Caitlin that’s turned into a trusting one.

“I think that it’s actually a really interesting relationship to look at because Killer Frost has a faith in Caitlin and Caitlin is sort of developing a faith in Killer Frost,” Carlos Valdes shared with EW in another interview about if Cisco is worrying about the two sharing one body.

He adds, “I think we’re starting to reach a point in the story where these two characters that inhabit the same body are starting to recognize that they need each other, you know? And that can only make the relationship stronger. I [would] hate to see something threaten that relationship. God, that would be terrible, wouldn’t it?”
