The CW has just released a bit of an intense new trailer for the upcoming ninth and final season of The Flash!
In the new teaser, we get more of a look at Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton).
Also seen in the trailer are Jesse L Martin, Jon Cor, Brandon McKnight, Kayla Compton, Richard Harmon as Owen Mercer/Captain Boomerang, Damon Poitier, Andy Mientus, and even a first official look at Javicia Leslie‘s Red Death!

The first trailer for the upcoming final season of The Flash has just been unveiled!
The DC Comics series will be coming to an end after it’s ninth season, making it the longest running DC show on The CW.
“You have been through a lot in nine years, and I’m very proud of you,” Jesse L Martin as Joe West says in the beginning of the trailer.
“Let’s do this, one last time,” Barry (Grant Gustin) says at the end of the trailer.

The premiere date for the upcoming final season of The Flash was just revealed.
Network The CW announced when fans can expect to start watching the ninth season of the show.
This news comes nearly a week after the midseason return dates were revealed, though it left off final season premiere dates for The Flash, Riverdale and Nancy Drew, as well as the return date for Superman & Lois and the premiere of Gotham Knights.

Candice Patton, Tyler Hoechlin and Olivia Liang were among the many in attendance at the Barbara Berlanti Heroes Gala held on Saturday (October 1) at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.
The CW stars joined several others, as well as stars from other shows, to help celebrate the honorees at the event, which benefitted F-ck Cancer.

It’s official – The Flash is coming to an end.
It was just revealed that the CW show’s upcoming ninth season will, in fact, be it’s last one, THR reports.
With the new season, it will be the longest-running DC series on the network, and it will be ending with a shorter season.

Candice Patton is really opening up about what it’s been like working on The Flash for the past eight years.
The 34-year-old actress got candid with Elliot Knight on the first episode of his new podcast The Open Up Podcast.
On the show, Candice shared about her experience being cast in The Flash, working on the show, almost quitting early on, and she also confirmed she will be back for season eight, but it will likely be her last. (Note: This podcast episode was recorded in between seasons seven and eight. Candice has been confirmed to also be returning for season nine of The Flash.)
