Darci Lynne Farmer and Angelica Hale share a cute hug after arriving in Las Vegas for the upcoming America’s Got Talent shows.
The two young stars, who placed 1st and 2nd on the show, will be performing with dance group Light Balance and comedian Preacher Lawson at Planet Hollywood.
After rehearsing for their show, Angelica and Darci Lynne headed to see Mat Franco‘s magical show.
“Got to see my first magic show tonight with @itsdarcilynne and it was awesome! @agt Season 9 winner @matfrancomagic was nothing short of AMAZING!!! Mind Blown!!!” Angelica wrote on Instagram.
The AGT Live shows will kick off on Thursday, November 2nd!
Darci Lynne Farmer gave Petunia, Oscar and Edna the day off as she performed the National Anthem at the OKC Energy FC game this week.
The America’s Got Talent champ took to the field to perform ahead of the game, and obviously killed it. Check out the video below!
“I feel crazy and awesome,” Darci Lynne told JJJ about how she’s now feeling after winning the show almost a month ago. “Now, my head is finally straight from all the excitement.”
She added that leading up to the final moments that she was just so nervous!
“I was just so nervous that I’ve ever been in my entire life at that moment,” Darci Lynne says. “It was just really nerve wracking. You don’t understand how nerve wracking it is until right then and you get up there on that stage.”
She adds, “It was crazy and I wanted them to call my name and I wanted them to call Angelica‘s name at the same time.”
“My main goal was just really to inspire others and to keep ventriloquism alive. I think it worked (laughs),” she shared with JJJ about her own personal goal when she auditioned last year.
Darci Lynne adds, “I think it worked though because my parents keep showing me all these videos of people around the world trying to do it. It makes me feel so good that I achieved my goal and now, I can do it more because I won and now I have a Vegas show!”
She also shared some tips for those actually going out for the show for season 14.
“I would just say go for it. Don’t hold back,” she says. “It’s absolutely worth it and the journey is crazy, but amazing.”
If you go out, you’re going to make so many memories and friends along the way,” Darci Lynne adds, “There’s just a possibility that you could win. So, just go for it.”
America’s Got Talent winner Darci Lynne Farmer has made such a big impact that Jimmy Fallon is imitating her during Lip Sync Battle!
The talk show host competed against Miley Cyrus during her final appearance on the show this week on Friday (October 6) in New York City.
Jimmy kicked things off with a performance of Julia Michaels‘ “Issues” while using puppets inspired by Darci. His second song was Hole‘s “Violet.”
Miley was declared the winner for her performances of Portugal. The Man‘s “Feel It Still” and Talking Heads‘ “Once in a Lifetime.” Watch the video below!
JJJ caught up with the season 12 winner after her big win, and after she had some time to relax — and she’s really ready for the Las Vegas shows next month!
“I’m getting so excited,” Darci Lynne told us. “Preacher Lawson, Light Balance and Angelica Hale will also be there too. It’s just going to be so great because there is so much talent there.”
You might think that Darci Lynne hasn’t ever been to Vegas before, considering she’s only 12, but she has!
“I have been to Vegas several times,” she says. “I’ve done a national pageant every year and that’s the city it takes place in.” So cool!
We also chatted to Darci Lynne about getting her very own Vegas show one day.
“That would be pretty cool,” she admits, however, it’s not something she actually thought about too hard. “At this moment, I’m not shooting for a full-time show every night. I wouldn’t rule that out though.”
