Disney dudes Cody Linley and Doug Brochu sandwich in gal pals Nicole Anderson and Debby Ryan as they attend day one of the D23 Expo held at the Anaheim Convention Center on Thursday afternoon (September 10) in Anaheim, Calif.
Cody, 19, dished to Radio Disney host Ernie D that he will be starring in an upcoming DCOM titled, Starstruck. He shared, “Basically, he’s [my character is] into this plain Jane chick he has an adventure with and they have a cool friendship that happens. He starts to realize lots of things about himself and it has a cool message. I’ve been singing every day. I’m recording six songs for the movie.”
He also shared that he was really excited about the expo. Cody shared, “It’s going to be awesome �” a huge event designed for the fans. I’m going to be there for a few hours, sign some autographs, meet the fans. If there are some fans who want to dance with me, I’m always going to be breaking it out.It’s a new love for me.”

Brandon Smith and Doug Brochu suit up with their matching coffee cups in this new still from Sonny With A Chance.
In the upcoming episode “Guess Who’s Coming To Guest Star,” While Chad (Sterling Knight) is on the set of “So Random!” preparing for his guest appearance, he and Sonny (Demi Lovato) engage in a game of reverse psychology to convince the other that they will fall in love by the end of the week. Meanwhile, when Nico (Smith) and Grady (Brochu) are kicked out of their dressing room so Chad can use it for the week, they take over Marshall’s office.
“Guess Who’s Coming To Guest Star” premieres Sunday, September 27 @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

On their favorite prop on the set of Sonny: “I like the gnome. I’ve recently borrowed said gnome and you might see some pictures of said gnome with me in places. If I’m going to go hiking, I might bring the gnome with me. So, keep and eye and ear out for the gnome.” (Doug)
“My favorite prop would have to be the pink wig. I think that represented Nico the best. It embodied funky, crazy, hot pink and hot. You might catch me in a couple shots cruising down Sunset (Blvd) with the wig on. (Brandon)
On the Sonny cast’s weekly bowling dates: “It’s more like daily…when we can. You (Doug) have a high score of 165 and I’m (Brandon) like 159. His highest is 160 with an average of infinity and my average is a million. Nothing to brag about, we just hit a million pins a day (laughs).
On the last CD they bought: “For me it was Kayne West’s 808s & Heartbreak. We’re not good CD buyers. I play whatever is on Radio Disney” (Brandon)
