She decides to take control of the situation by making the rumor mill work to her advantage. However, as in all high school affairs, drama and gossip ensues.

Emma Stone glitters in a backless Pucci dress as she arrives at the premiere of her new film, Easy A, held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Monday night (September 13).
The 21-year-old actress stars as Olive Penderghast, a high school student who lies about losing her virginity to her gay best friend, Brandon (Dan Byrd), she begins to see life paralleling the story of Hester Prynne in Nathaniel Hawthorne’s “The Scarlet Letter”.
However, rival Marianne (Amanda Bynes) starts a string of rumors in order to bring down her reputation and force her to leave the school. Olive then decides to use the rumors to her own advantage; affixing a red A to her clothing in reference to the embattled heroine of the novel.
Easy A hits theaters on Friday, September 17th.
Emma is also pictured coming out of a taping for Chelsea Lately.
