A brand new trailer for the upcoming Black Widow movie was released over the weekend!
Florence Pugh stars alongside Scarlett Johansson in the Marvel movie, set to premiere on July 9th. Also featured in the trailer is Ever Anderson, who plays a young version of Scarlett‘s Natasha Romanoff.
Here’s a synopsis: Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
Scarlett of course reprises her role of Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Florence plays Yelena, David Harbour portrays Alexei/The Red Guardian and Rachel Weisz is Melina.
The upcoming movie is the first film of Marvel’s Phase Four, and will premiere in theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access on July 9th.
If you missed it, Ever is currently in production on her next movie, Peter Pan & Wendy, in which plays Wendy.
A few months ago, it was reported that Florence will be reprising her Black Widow role for an upcoming Marvel series on Disney+. Get the scoop!
The upcoming movie is based on J.M. Barrie‘s novel “Peter And Wendy” and inspired by the original 1953 animated Disney movie.
Peter Pan & Wendy is the timeless tale of a young girl who, defying her parents’ wishes to attend boarding school, travels with her two younger brothers to the magical Neverland. There, she meets a boy who refuses to grow up, a tiny fairy and an evil pirate captain, and they soon find themselves on a thrilling and dangerous adventure far, far away from their family and the comforts of home.
“Peter Pan has long been one of my favorite stories, partially because I’ve always resisted growing up, but also because of the heart, adventure and imagination that makes J.M. Barrie’s original tale so evergreen,” director David Lowery said. “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to redefine his iconic characters for a new generation – and even more excited that I get to do so with such an exceptional cast and crew.”
Ever Anderson shows off her blue hair in her cover feature for Flaunt magazine.
The 12-year-old up and coming actress, who will star in Disney’s new Peter Pan live action film, opened up about why she decided to pursue a career in acting, like her mom Milla Jovovich.
“I like that feeling I get when I’m being someone else. From the first time I got to act in a film, I just loved it,” she told the mag.
“It’s like playing a game—a game that you get to play out with the other actors who are all sharing and pushing you to keep it all going. A lot of kids at my school don’t like role playing anymore, so this is my way to keep playing with other people,” Ever added.
Ever also shared the reason why she decided to dye her hair blue.
“It wasn’t my choice to dye it blue. It was dyed this color for the film I shot last summer,” she said. “I love my character in the film. She will forever have a place in my heart. I am her and she is me and that makes it so special because every time I think of blue I think of her.”
