The brothers separated for several years to work on individual projects, but reunited earlier this year for this new album before hitting the road for their world tour later this summer.

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have a ton of things going on right now – from her film, Dark Phoenix, to his new album with brothers Kevin and Nick – there’s a lot!
In a few new interviews, both Joe and Sophie have given credit to each other for being there for the other for constant support.
“I’m really excited for him and it’s an exciting time for both of us,” Sophie shared in a new interview with Nova’s Smallzy’s Surgery.
She added that “I’m his biggest cheerleader and he is mine, so I think we’re both as excited for each other’s projects more than our own!”
Joe also spoke to Harper’s Bazaar, and revealed in the Jonas Brothers‘ documentary, Chasing Happiness, that it was Sophie who inspired to make things right with his brothers.
“It encouraged me to see she has such a great relationship with her brothers,” he shared with the magazine. “That was really a big thing for me to be able to look at, and say, ‘I gotta get my s*** together.’”
Dark Phoenix, and the Jonas Brothers‘ new album, Happiness Begins, are both out TOMORROW, June 7th.

The guys – Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas – stopped by to chat more about their documentary, Chasing Happiness, and brand new album, Happiness Begins, which drops at midnight tonight.
“For us, it was important to step into this new chapter with a lot of clarity about how we were going to approach it, and that was being as honest as possible with each other and with our fans — and maybe people who were not fans as well, which I think is very important,” Nick explained about the documentary, which is streaming on Amazon Prime now.
He added, “This documentary hopefully will bring some families back together that maybe have had some tough times.”

Here’s what Nick, Joe, and Kevin had to share…
Joe, on the tipping point for the band: “At some point [the band] got so dysfunctional that we didn’t even let in outside writers. We didn’t have a producer. We didn’t have a label. We were like, ‘We’re good with this.’ Not to speak of memes, but it was like that dog and the burning house: ‘This is fine.’”
Nick, on being the one who ended the band: “I felt guilty for having been so honest. But I was also aware that was absolutely what needed to be done. I could have done a better job of communicating the way I felt. I’d had a month or two to live with this decision I’d made, and they hadn’t.”
Joe, on how Sophie helped him fix his relationships with Kevin and Nick after the band broke up: “It encouraged me to see she has such a great relationship with her brothers. That was really a big thing for me to be able to look at, and say, ‘I gotta get my shit together.’”
Kevin, on the band breaking up: “Being back with the Jonas Brothers? I truly never thought it would happen. Like, ever. When that chapter closed, it closed. I put that book on the shelf…”

Kevin Jonas became a first time dad to Alena Rose Jonas back in 2014, but come to find out, he wasn’t actually talking to his brothers then.
The 31-year-old musician explained in the Jonas Brothers new documentary, Chasing Happiness, that the brothers hadn’t seen each other or even talked to them in quite a while when his first daughter was born.
“[I] Didn’t really see them for Christmas that year. Didn’t really see them for the holidays,” Kevin remembers of the fallout from his brothers’ concerts. “But I think what was hard for me was, when Alena came, we weren’t really talking. It was the first time I saw my brothers since the breakup.”
The brothers also admitted that there was kind of another reunion planned, but it was scrapped when their new singles weren’t hitting with fans.
“We lost sight of the fact that we were just a band having a good time,” Kevin shared, with Nick adding, “People liked seeing us happy and we were not happy.”

Joe Jonas is finally reacting to Taylor Swift‘s apology about putting him on blast during an interview back in 2008.
If you recall, Taylor admitted in a new interview on The Ellen Show that calling him out probably wasn’t the best thing for her to do and called it one of her biggest regrets.
“When I put Joe Jonas on blast on your show. That was too much. I was 18. Yeah. We laugh about it now but that was mouthy, just some teenage stuff there,” Taylor said during a 2019 appearance on Ellen‘s show.
Now, Joe is sharing his reaction.
“It’s something that I was probably feeling pretty bad about when I was younger. At the end of the day, I’ve moved on. I’m sure Taylor’s moved on. It feels nice. We’re all friends. It’s all good. We were so young,” Joe said during a Lorraine show appearance.
During the November 2008 appearance on the show, Taylor said that Joe broke up with her during a 27-second phone call. Check out that full 2008 interview here.
