The 30-year-old actress’ appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show aired this week (March 24) and she opened up about why Kelly is of the reasons she has a career.
“I remember, I watched you on American Idol, and I just fell in love with you. I was like, ‘I want to audition for American Idol‘,” Lucy said. “And sure enough, they did American Juniors, I auditioned for that, and it’s because of all that that it led to the acting.”
Kelly was of course the first ever winner of American Idol, and it spawned a kids version called American Juniors. Lucy was in the top ten on that show, along with Katelyn Tarver.
The “Rare” singer chatted about locking lips with the The Suite Life of Zack & Cody star while appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Friday (March 6).
If you remember, Selena and Dylan‘s kiss happened in a 2006 episode of The Suite Life.
“It was my first kiss — [and] on-camera!” Selena added. It was one of the worst days of my life!”
Selena Gomez previously told Twist magazine, “I actually leaned in to kiss him, and I had my eyes closed a little too early and I ended up missing, like, half of his lips. So it ended up being the most awkward kiss in the world … I was 12, so it was okay and it was good. Thank goodness he is such an awesome guy!”

Nick Jonas reveals he wrote songs and submitted them for one of his fellow The Voice coaches to record, but got rejected!
During Tuesday night’s episode of The Voice, the 27-year-old entertainer was vying to get a contestant on his team and told her, “You’re the kind of singer I would die to write songs for.”
“Am I the kind of artist you could write songs for?” Kelly Clarkson asked.
“I think I’ve submitted songs for you that you turned down,” Nick replied. Oh no!
“WHAT?! Have you?!” Kelly then reacted.
Could you imagine, maybe a Kelly Clarkson and Nick Jonas duet?!
The 17-year-old from Georgia performed a rendition of Adele‘s “Remedy” for her audition in front of the coaches, and got a chair turn from Kelly Clarkson.
When Kelly asked who her musical inspirations were, Megan replied that Kelly was actually an inspiration for her.
Megan is a high school student, and she also works as a waitress at a restaurant with her mom.
“I just want to say thank you to everyone! Thank you God! This has changed my life forever. #TeamKelly Blue heartGlowing star,” Megan shared on Twitter after the episode aired.
“I’m so excited to be a part of The Voice family,” Nicksaid. “It’s such an awesome group of individuals, and I can’t wait to help these artists really build and hone in to find their unique voices.”
