Kristen Stewart is looking more and more like Princess Diana in her upcoming movie!

The 30-year-old actress is currently filming Spencer, where she’s portraying the late Princess, and the second photo was just released.

Here’s a synopsis: December, 1991: The Prince and Princess of Wales’ marriage has long since grown cold. Though rumours of affairs and a divorce abound, peace is ordained for the Christmas festivities at Sandringham Estate. There’s eating and drinking, shooting and hunting. Diana knows the game. This year, things will be a whole lot different.

Filming on the movie is getting closer to being finished, and production has moved from Germany to the UK for the final stretch.

Also starring in the pic include Timothy Spall, Sally Hawkins, and Sean Harris, and it focuses on one weekend in the life of Princess Diana, as she spends the Christmas holiday with the royal family at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, and decides to leave her marriage to Prince Charles.

Pablo Larraín is directing the movie, with a planned fall release date.

The 30-year-old actress will play the late Princess at the time that she realizes her marriage to Prince Charles isn’t working.

According to Deadline, the movie “covers a critical weekend in the early ‘90s, when Diana decided her marriage to Prince Charles wasn’t working, and that she needed to veer from a path that put her in line to one day be queen. The drama takes place over three days, in one of her final Christmas holidays in the House of Windsor in their Sandringham estate in Norfolk, England.”

Pablo Larraín is directing the film, which recently just added Sally Hawkins, Timothy Spall and Sean Harris to the cast. The film is currently filming in Germany.

Kristen Stewart wears a mask and a short black dress at the drive-in premiere of her new movie Happiest Season held at The Grove on Tuesday (November 17) in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old actress was joined by her co-stars Alison Brie, Aubrey Plaza, Burl Mosely, Sarayu Blue, Clea DuVall and Mary Holland.

If you didn’t know, Clea is also the director of the holiday movie, and she co-wrote the script with Mary!

Also in attendance at the drive-in premiere include RuPaul’s Drag Race stars BenDeLaCreme and Jinkx Monsoon, who make a cameo in the movie, as well as singers Shea Diamond and Jake Wesley Rogers.

Kristen Stewart‘s new romantic comedy Happiest Season is no longer being released in theaters!

It was just announced that the holiday flick will now be premiering on Hulu, instead of in theaters, on the same day, November 25th.

“This holiday season — more than any other — we could all use a little happiness. It was essential to Sony Pictures and to the filmmakers that Clea [DuVall]’s marvelous and fresh holiday-themed romantic comedy come out when the lights are on the trees,” Nicole Brown, President of TriStar Pictures, said in a statement. “We are excited that Hulu is geared up to make this happen in the U.S. and grateful that they love the movie as much as we do.”

Kristen Stewart is opening up about her upcoming holiday movie Happiest Season.

The 30-year-old recently dished about being a queer person playing a gay character and the expectation that comes with that.

“I did more when I was younger, when I was being hounded about labeling myself. I had no reticence about displaying who I was,” she told InStyle magazine.

“I was going out every day knowing I’d be photographed while I was being affectionate with my girlfriend, but I didn’t want to talk about it,” Kristen continued. “I did feel an enormous pressure, but it wasn’t put on me by the [LGBTQ+] community. People were seeing those pictures and reading these articles and going, ‘Oh, well, I need to be shown.’”

“I was a kid, and I felt personally affronted. Now I relish it. I love the idea that anything I do with ease rubs off on somebody who is struggling. That shit’s dope! When I see a little kid clearly feeling themselves in a way that they wouldn’t have when I grew up, it makes me skip.”

Kristen also shared that she had a great co-star in Mackenzie Davis for the film.

“I could not have had a better partner in this than Mackenzie. This couple needed to be two people you really liked and found aspirational,” she dished. “So we had to make sure of that — even though it is a movie about somebody who is coming to terms with being themselves. We had a responsibility to not be dinky. It’s like, ‘No, we know what we’re doing, and it’s OK. And now please, everyone else get comfortable with it.’”
