The trailer for the upcoming YA rom-com Love In Taipei just debuted!
The Paramount+ movie is based on the New York Time’s best-selling novel “Loveboat, Taipei,” by author Abigail Hing Wen, who also serves as an executive producer on the film.
“Creating the Loveboat series has been a labor of love for me, from penning three books, to bringing incredible talent on board, to filming on set in Taipei,” Abigail shared in a statement. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to see this world brought to life on screen in Love in Taipei. Ever, Rick, Xavier and Sophie, excellently portrayed by the most phenomenal cast, will make you fall in love with the story all over again, and I cannot wait for audiences to watch the film this August on Paramount+.”

Paramount+ has just debuted the first look for the upcoming YA romance movie Love In Taipei!
Ashley Liao and Ross Butler lead the cast of the new film, which is based on Abigail Hing Wen‘s novel “Loveboat, Taipei.”
The upcoming movie was first announced in November 2021, and in early June 2023, it was announced it was going to premiere on the streamer.

Ashley Liao and Ross Butler‘s upcoming movie is headed to Paramount+!
It was just announced that the streaming service has picked up Love In Taipei, based on the book “Loveboat, Taipei” by Abigail Hing Wen.
Ashley stars in the film as Ever Wong, “whose summer takes an unexpected turn when her parents surprise her with a trip to Taipei for a cultural immersion program.” This is actually inspired by a real program that is attended by thousands of Chinese and Taiwanese diaspora youth.

Kaitlyn Dever and Isabela Merced both chose Dior for their red carpet looks at the Rosaline premiere!
The co-stars walked the red carpet together at the premiere of their new Hulu film on Thursday night (October 6) at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood.
The ladies were joined by co-stars Sean Teale, Minnie Driver, Christopher McDonald, Spencer Stevenson, Nico Hiraga, and Mercedes Colon, along with director Karen Maine, and screenwriters Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber.
Rosaline is a clever and comedic twist on Shakespeare’s classic love story “Romeo & Juliet,” told from the perspective of Juliet’s cousin Rosaline (Dever), who also happens to be Romeo’s recent love interest. Heartbroken when Romeo (Kyle Allen) meets Juliet (Merced) and begins to pursue her, Rosaline schemes to foil the famous romance and win back her guy.
The movie will premiere on Hulu on October 14. Watch the trailer now!

The 22-year-old actress and the 24-year-old actor have been cast as the leads in Sweethearts, which hails from Jordan Weiss, the creator of Hulu’s Dollface, who also co-wrote the script, Deadline reports.

Yasmin Finney and Kit Connor were in attendance at the Kenzo Menswear Spring Summer 2023 fashion show on Sunday (June 26) in Paris.
The Heartstopper co-stars were seen sitting front row together at the Paris Fashion Week – Menswear event.
Also seen attending the show were Addison Rae, Rickey Thompson, Jaden Smith, Nico Hiraga, Ansel Elgort and Cruz Beckham.
The day before, Yasmin and Kit‘s co-stars Joe Locke and Sebastian Croft were also seen attending a couple of fashion week shows.
In case you missed the exciting news, not only has Heartstopper been renewed for two more seasons on Netflix, Yasmin has another very exciting new project.
She has been cast opposite Ncuti Gatwa in the next series of Doctor Who. Yasmin will make history as the first transgender actor to play a companion in the main series, where she will portray Rose Tyler.
