Starbucks' Unicorn Frappucino Is Selling Out Everywhere & Some Twitter Users Aren't Really Sad About It

The Unicorn Frappucino from Starbucks is pretty much everything anyone is talking about this week.

However, the drink (with 76 grams of sugar) that launched on Wednesday, is already sold out in some places around the country.

“So many people are just driving away when we say we don’t have the #unicornfrappuccino,” one barista wrote on Twitter with a funny gif attached.

Some are having the same reaction of not being bothered by it, while other Starbucks drinkers have been going all over the place just to get one.

According to one Instagrammer, if your Target location has a Starbucks head there! “[They're] selling out slower than the stand alone stores!”

Celebs Are Horrified by United Airlines Violent Video -- Read Their Reactions Here

A man was forcibly removed from a United Airlines flight on Sunday night (April 9) and celebrities are horrified by the video circulating of the incident.

Passengers had already boarded the flight when United staff told them they needed four volunteers to give up their seats for United employees who needed them.

When no one volunteered, United staff reportedly chose “volunteers” at random. A spokesman for United says that four people were chosen by the computer at random and three of them left the plane. When the fourth wouldn’t deplane, law enforcement was called.

Video from the flight shows the man being ripped out of his seat by officials while other passengers expressed their outrage. The man’s head allegedly hit the armrest and you can see blood dripping from his mouth while the cops drag him down the aisle of the plane by his arms.

The man who was forcibly removed from the plane identified himself as a doctor who needed to see patients on Monday.

“We followed the right procedures,” United spokesman Charlie Hobart told the Associated Press. “That plane had to depart. We wanted to get our customers to their destinations, and when one gentleman refused to get off the aircraft, we had to call the Chicago Police Department.”

“Flight 3411 from Chicago to Louisville was overbooked,” the company said in an official statement. “After our team looked for volunteers, one customer refused to leave the aircraft voluntarily and law enforcement was asked to come to the gate. We apologize for the overbook situation. Further details on the removed customer should be directed to authorities.”

The New 'American Girl' Doll is a Boy - Meet Logan Everett!

American Girl just debuted their first boy doll!

Logan Everett is a drummer who performs with another new doll, Tenney Grant, a budding country western singer.

“A boy character has been a top request from our fans for decades,” Stephanie Spanos, an American Girl spokeswoman shared. “We’re hopeful Logan will appeal to both girls and boys…For boys, we know Logan can speak directly to them and give them something unique and special to call their own.”

Logan and Tenney are just friends though, although a young child can imagine them to be whatever they want.

“He is Tenney’s bandmate and drummer and eventually they become friends in her stories. They’re not boyfriend and girlfriend. Tenney’s 10 and really she’s focused on her singing character.”

Tenney and Logan will join Melody, Felicity, Samantha and more in the line.

Boy Scouts of America Will Now Allow Transgender Children

Boy Scouts of America Will Now Allow Transgender Children

Boy Scouts of America are working to be a more inclusive organization!

The group just announced that they will now allow transgender children who identify as boys will be able to enroll in boys only programs, effective immediately.

“For more than 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America, along with schools, youth sports and other youth organizations, have ultimately deferred to the information on an individual’s birth certificate to determine eligibility for our single-gender programs,” the statement read.

They added, “However, that approach is no longer sufficient as communities and state laws are interpreting gender identity differently, and these laws vary widely from state to state….Our organization’s local councils will help find units that can provide for the best interest of the child.”

The announcement comes soon after an 8-year-old transgender child was asked to leave his troop after it was discovered he was transgender.

We’re so glad to hear that the organization had decided to become so inclusive!

Cheerleading Finally Gets Olympic Recognition

This is probably the best news JJJ‘s heard so far today — Cheerleading is finally being recognized as a sport by the IOC!

According to the New York Times, while the International Olympic Committee is recognizing cheerleading, that doesn’t mean that we’ll see actual competitions at the Olympics any time soon. Bummer!

However, the recognition means that cheerleading’s governing body, the International Cheer Union, will receive at least $25,000 every year and have the opportunity to apply for additional grants. Which is a major fete!

This period of recognition lasts for three years, and at any point during this time, IOC execs can vote to fully recognize the sport. After that, the ICU can petition to be included in the Games.

JJJ is pretty sure cheerleading has always been a sport though — have you seen the injuries they endure?! No pads people!
