Miley Cyrus Celebrates Her Sweet 16 At The AMAs

Miley Cyrus snuggles up close to BFF Ashley Tisdale and mom Tish Cyrus in front of her Sweet 16th birthday cake she was presented with at the 2008 American Music Awards on Sunday night in Los Angeles.

The now 16-year-old Disney starlet performed her second single from her Breakout album, “Fly on the Wall.” (She wore Frye “Veronica Slouch” boots in grey patent and Loree Rodkin’s white gold bondage ring in black rhodium and grey diamonds.)

Miley told Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger on the red carpet that the performance would be crazy. She shared, “It’s really cool. There’s a huge break dance section, we’ve got a big billboard. It’s amazing. There’s jumping all over the place. It’s crazy and I have 30-something dancers today so I’m excited.”
