Ashley Tisdale chats away on her cell phone as she and mom Lisa have lunch at Art’s Deli on Thursday afternoon (January 29) in Studio City, Calif.
The 23-year-old actress had to make a quick stop earlier at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for her trademark iced coffee.
While Ashley is busy working on her sophomore album, her BFFs Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are off in Japan promoting their film, High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

Ashley has done ok in Disney, and honestly that would be great if she had Miley Cyrus’s career, or the Jonas Brothers’ starpower, or, you know, talent. But I’m not gonna lie, she doesn’t have the right look or attitude for the real deal, and the people in Hollywood can spot an imposter like her from miles away. She’ll be chewed right up and spit right out before any of her preteen fans can even blink.
