Kenny Ortega Announces 'Descendants 2' Starts Filming This Summer!

JJJ is so excited about Descendants 2 — and director Kenny Ortega‘s announcement just made us even more excited!

Kenny, who directed the first film, as well as the High School Musical movies, took to Instagram to share the big news.

“We’re back, Bigger and Badder! #descendants2 begins filming this Summer in #vancity #bc #longliveevil,” he wrote.

Descendants stars Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Booboo Stewart, Cameron Boyce, Mitchell Hope, Sarah Jeffery, Zachary Gibson, Dianne Dion, Brenna D’Amico, and Jedidiah Goodacre.
