'Descendants 2' Casts Thomas Doherty as Captain Hook's Son!

Descendants 2 just announced a brand new villain kid — Harry Hook!

Up and coming actor Thomas Doherty, who was born in Scotland and lives in London, will play the son of Captain Hook in the sequel film which is getting underway now in Vancouver, Canada.

He’ll join China Anne McClain as one of the new villain kids opposite Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart, and Sofia Carson. The movie will also introduce the kid of Beauty and the Beast‘s Gaston.

Disney Channel will also be sharing updates on the movie with the hashtag #D2Deets on Twitter and Instagram, so be sure to look out for those!

Descendants 2 will debut in 2017.
