JJJ: What would you hope is Callie’s perfecting ending at the end of the series?
Maia: I love this character and feel very strongly about her. I feel like she’s my best friend, at this point. I really want what’s best for her, and I would love to see her turning all of this adversity and struggle into something positive. I would love to see her become more involved in social justice, like becoming a social worker. I would love to see her using her voice to support other women who are going through what she’s been through.
