Betty & Veronica's Friendship on 'Riverdale' Will Be Put To The Test in Season 2

We all may claim to love Bughead, Barchie or Varchie the best, we all know that our hearts are true blue to Beronica – the BFF friendship of Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge on Riverdale.

Which is why this spoiler for the upcoming season has us in fits!

It seems that Betty and Veronica’s friendship will be “put to the test a little bit” actress Lili Reinhart explained over the weekend.

She adds, “When Betty and Veronica do have a conflict with one another and when they aren’t necessarily on the same team anymore, it makes you realize how much you do love the girls as a duo.”

Beronica is for life!

Camila Mendes, who plays Veronica, adds that it’s a tough thing for them both.

“It’s heartbreaking watching that conflict unfold because it’s coming from a place of love and protection, so it hurts,” she says. “The audience will be hurt watching it.”
