MONIQUE COLEMAN AS KATINA

Monique says of her character, “Katina is a Guidance counselor at a high school that’s grieving a recent tragedy. She comes to realize that she doesn’t know her students as well as she thought she did. Despite everything happening around her, she remains kind, passionate, and fiercely determined.”

What’s the one trait your character has that you wish you did too?
Katina & I actually share a lot of similarities. She’s strong, hardworking & deeply cares for her students. Honestly, the one thing I would want is her office!! I literally would show up to set & hang out in “my” office because it was so inviting and comfortable.

What’s the quirkiest thing about your character?
I wouldn’t really describe Katina as quirky. It’s possible that before the incident that turned the school upside down she had some quirks. But, at the point where we meet her, she’s really focused on solving a huge mystery.
